Preparations are underway for the specially organized 2GMP tour and exhibit of early modern prints and drawings from the Mennonite Historical Library at the University of Amsterdam’s Special Collections. The world’s pioneer in using music for peacebuilding and social change: Musicians Without Borders is present during the opening ceremony of the conference! Rachel Goossen, Professor of History at Washburn University will take care of the third speech at our opening ceremony. The topic of her key-note will be: LGBTQ Leaders Among Us: New Directions in Peacebuilding. – This is contested issue among some Mennonites, and certainly a new topic for peacebuilding within the Mennonite community – and beyond.

Artistic performances & exhibits
Our arts and exhibit program is now confirmed and finalised! Different artists will contribute to the 2nd GMP through their poetry, music, visual arts and even sculptures. We even got some special collaborations coming up. See the schedule for more info! Lees meer >>
