Review of the first edition

Review of the first edition
On June 9-12, 2016, 203 people visited Grebel from 20 countries for the first edition of the Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival. The purpose of the event was to explore traditions and contemporary expressions of Anabaptist/Mennonite peace beliefs and practices; to bring together academics and practitioners to learn from each other, to give expression to peacebuilding ideals through the arts, and to assess and re-envision Mennonite peacebuilding practise. Here you can find photo's and articles from this event. Read more >>

Letter of invitation
On 27-30 June 2019, the second edition of the Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival (GMP) will take place in The Netherlands (Mennorode, Elspeet). From the first GMP at Conrad Grebel University College (Waterloo, 2016), we have learned how valuable it is to meet as Mennonites/Anabaptists to share our experiences, capacities and struggles with peacebuilding, our theology pertaining to peace, peace practices, understandings regarding `just peace´ in different contexts and to engage peace art expressions. Please feel invited to join us at the second edition of this international event. Read more >>
